Welcome ~
I've always been known as someone who simply can not sit still for longer than five minutes. As I've learned various
systems for working out, I found myself getting bored with the same old routines. So, I decided to switch it up!
In my own workouts, I would go from doing sun salutations, to grabbing a set of dumbbells and doing some chest
presses, to jumping jacks and then, remembering my yoga mat, I'd finish it all up with some really deep stretches
and end in savasana. Whew!
I managed to inspire myself and tone different parts of my body. I then decided to take the risk of introducing
a new style of work out yoga to my students who went crazy over it! I had finally figured out the way to incorporate
my creativity, skills and knowledge of Physical exercise and Yoga on the mat. You'll never do the same work out
twice!
Join me and we'll keep your body guessing, strengthening your core and help you Master your Body so you can Master
your Life! Welcome to the Athletic Yogi Club!
Renukah Hunter has been involved in a yogic practice and physical activities since early childhood. Her love for
having an active life started on the tennis courts with her father Cid Hunter showing her the ropes at age 7 and her
understanding for nutrition is all thanks to her mother, Ajita. In her daily life, she loves to eat right and spends
her time coming up with creative ways to keep her body practice inspiring and not stagnant; so she's continually
creating different active programs to keep fit and bring the fun back into taking care of herself.
She has studied a variety of yoga disciplines including Ashtanga, Hatha, Iyengar and Kundalini, from masters in
California, Alaska, New Mexico and India such as K. Pattabhi Jois, Dotty Candler, Nirvair Khalsa and Arun Rao.
Renukah is certified in Kundalini Yoga, YogaFit and Radiant Child Yoga (Level 1 & 2) ACE Fitness. Renukah received her Exercise Science degree (AAS) in 2008.
